Robert (RJ) Goodwin begins his second season on the Wilmington College football coaching staff in 2020. He serves as linebackers coach as well as coordinating the program's video operations.
Under Goodwin's tutelage, Tavion Bryant and Ameer Jackson garnered Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honors in 2019. Additionally, Goodwin aided Head Coach Bryan Moore in guiding the Fightin' Quakers to a 3-7 season, the program's best in a decade.
Goodwin is a recent graduate of Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio. He was a four-year member of the football team including a three-year starter and a two-year captain. After graduation in December of 2018, he working at Link Sport and Spine Rhabilitation as a intern with the marketing office.
He resides in Wilmington.
