2017 JENNASTRONG FALL CLASSIC (5th/25th Annual)
Friday, October 13, 2017
For GPS-enter 700 Elm St. Wilmington, Ohio 45177
The 25th edition of the Wilmington College Fall Classic will be the fifth to honor our fallen teammate Jenna Parlette. On August 31, 2013 Jenna collapsed while leading the Franklin Invitational and passed away 3 days later. Jenna was a student-athlete who overcame many medical obstacles in her life to become an outstanding runner. We are all blessed that Jenna was a part of our school/cross country family and we all miss her dearly! To celebrate Jenna’s life we renamed the WC Fall Classic-The JENNASTRONG Fall Classic. Jenna worked tirelessly in support of Epilepsy awareness. To continue Jenna’s efforts everything associated with the JennaStrong Fall Classic will be purple (purple is the international color for epilepsy) including bib numbers, all awards etc. If your team would like to participate we invite all teams/participants to wear purple (ribbons, uniform items/accessories etc.)

The starting line is south of the new turf practice field and the Center for Sport Sciences which is directly behind Hermann Court.
Facilities: Please encourage your athletes to use the port-o-lets near the course or the restrooms in Hermann Court, not the restrooms in the Center for Sport Sciences. The Center will be open for business on the day of the Fall Classic and only has a small restroom for the clients of the businesses in the CSS. Restroom/shower facilities are located in Hermann Court, North of the start/finish area; enter on side of building near the track.
