@DubC_LQB Preview: Muskingum

The Wilmington College women's basketball team returns home 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to face Muskingum in Ohio Athletic Conference action. 

SERIES: Wilmington has dominated the series, winning 25 of the 29 meetings. The Fightin' Quakers claimed the earlier meeting, 67-60, on January 11.

LAST MEETING: Sophomore Mackenzie Campbell recorded her first double-double of the season as the Wilmington College women's basketball team took sole possession of second place in the Ohio Athletic Conference with the 67-60 victory over Muskingum on Januart 11th at the Anne C. Steele Center.

It marked the victory OAC road victory for Wilmington this season.

Campbell finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while senior Ashley Andracki added 15 points and eight boards

TIED FOR SECOND: Wilmington is currently tied with Baldwin Wallace for second place in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The two teams are three games behind league leader Ohio Northern, and hold a three game lead on fourth place Muskingum. 

1,000 POINTS: Senior Brittaney Jefferson is the 14th player in school history to reach 1,000 points, and the first since Kortney Kin achieved the feat in 2010. 

CAMPBELL'S SOUP: Sophomore Mackenzie Campbell leads the team and is tied for third in the conference with 15.7 points per game. Campbell has scored at least 10 points in all but two games this season.

She is third in the league, and is the top guard, making 51.4 percent of her shots. 

PROUD MARY: Senior Mary Moyer leads the OAC in rebounding with 9.4 boards, including a career-high 18 rebounds earlier this season. She has three double-doubles this season and 10 in her career. Moyer has eight double-figure rebounding efforts this year.

IT'S A COLE WORLD: Senior Ja'Cole Tabor comes off the bench to provide the Fightin' Quakers with whatever is needed. A natural wing, Tabor has played all five positions this season.  

SCORING: Wilmington College is sixth in the OAC, scoring 66.8 points per game, and third in scoring defense – allowing 58.9 points per game.
