Both @DubC_XCTR teams 14th at All-Ohio Championship

DELAWARE- The Wilmington College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the All-Ohio Outdoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. Both teams finished the championship in 14th place- the women with 14 points and the men with 20 points.



  • Junior Pierce Burnam (New Richmond, OH/New Richmond) turned in one of the highest place finishes for the Fightin' Quakers over the course of the meet. Burnam finished the men's 400-meter hurdles in a time of 53.62 to earn second.

  • Fellow junior Antone Truss (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) also claimed a second-place finish for the men's team, his in the men's high jump, clearing a height of 1.98-meters.

  • Junior Lauren Stacy (Bethel, OH/Western Brown) claimed the next highest spot on the podium for WC. Stacy threw the hammer 48.28-meters in the women's hammer throw to achieve third-place. This distance was further than the previous All-Ohio meet record, as well as was a new WC women's team record. 

  • Freshman Emma Burke (Hilliard, OH/Darby) snagged a fourth-place finish for the women's team with her time of 15.45 in the finals of the women's 100-meter hurdles.

  • Rounding out the top-five finishes for the Fightin' Quakers this afternoon was junior Kalvin Butts (St. John's, MI/St. John's). Butts' toss of 49.70-meters in the men's hammer throw earned fifth-place.



  • On Friday, both the men's and women's teams head to Otterbein University for an invitational.
