Paula Stewart enters her 13th season as assistant coach for Wilmington College men and women's swimming teams. She also serves as the Director of the QuakerFit programs.
Stewart has been a key cog to a swimming staff that has claimed Ohio Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, men's or women's, six times. Her out of pool training regime is vital to Wilmington's success.
"I love athletics and competition," said Stewart, who competes in master's swimming, triathlons, mountain biking and karate. "Our student-athletes at Wilmington love to compete as well. I try to encourage them to strive to achieve, as students, athletes and people."
Stewart also is a Spinning instructor at Get Fit in Wilmington. Stewart and her husband Kent reside in Wilmington.
