The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named men's swimmeer David Hawk as its Player of the Week, for the period ending February 21, 2016.
Hawk (Edison, OH/Mount Gilead) set the Ohio Athletic Conference record in the 50 freestyle, and the Wilmington record in the 200 freestyle. He claimed the OAC championship in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Hawk was also All-OAC in the 200 freestyle.
In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
